Elyse co-founded Grads of Life, an initiative of Year Up focused on leveraging the power of the private sector to close the Opportunity Divide in America. With more than two decades in the field, she is a thought leader and a key architect of the strategy to advance the inclusive employment movement. She serves as a strategic partner to the OneTen coalition, and has extensive experience working with private sector executives, nonprofits, and foundations to develop and implement inclusive employment strategies that advance DEI initiatives.
For Grads of Life, Elyse leads the advisory services and corporate training lines of business, helping employers effectively recruit, hire and retain traditionally overlooked groups of talent. She also supports her team in conducting research and building tools that support the adoption of inclusive business practices that provide greater access to economic opportunity and mobility. As managing director, she sits on Year Up’s executive team, serving as a lead for the organization’s impact strategy, which focuses on changing the systems that perpetuate the Opportunity Divide.
Elyse holds a J.D., Order of the Coif, from the University of Texas School of Law and is a graduate of Williams College.
