Richard is an experienced senior leader with a proven record of excellence in leadership, program development, and learning innovation. He is a founding member of Year Up United, where he led the development of some key foundational program elements including our academic curriculum, our feedback model, and our pedagogy for engaging our program participants.
As a partner at Grads of Life, Richard leads our Learning & Development vertical, helping employers develop the mindsets needed to adopt and sustain equitable talent practices. Richard leads our work with coalitions and corporate collaboratives, including OneTen, and the MassSkills coalition.
Richard is adept at partnering with C-suite leaders to drive large-scale Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging (DEIB) and Skills-First initiatives. He is a Master facilitator and public speaker and is passionate about driving equity within organizations and creating systemic change. He holds a B.A. in education, history and French studies from Duke University.
