Before joining the Grads of Life team, Michael served as a Program Manager for the Year Up Puget Sound In Seattle, WA. In this role, he not only championed diversity efforts but also established the national staff resource group for Black, African American, and Pan African staff, showcasing his dedication to fostering an inclusive work environment. Michael’s influence expanded further as he served as a fellow on the Year Up change team, contributing to the development of antiracist infrastructure for both Year Up and Grads of Life.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Project Management from Pierce College, reflecting his commitment to excellence and continuous learning. With a proven track record of community impact and a passion for creating positive change, Michael stands as a leader in the realm of diversity, equity, and inclusion, embodying the values of social responsibility and empowerment.
