7-Second Resume Statement
When I was eight, my father started teaching me about economic and social justice in America. I channel his lessons into my work every day.
Philip Price is Director, Peer Learning Community. In this role, he designs, builds, develops and deploys best-in-class learning experiences around issues of equity in the workforce for senior executives so that they can reimagine and rebuild their talent pipelines to become more inclusive. Prior to joining the Peer Learning Community, he designed and developed highly effective online training programs for managers, front line health care workers, and opportunity youth for Grads of Life, Cognotion Inc. and CorpU.
Phil is an educator at heart. He is committed to serving people who have not traditionally been served well. He has led schools in Philadelphia, PA and Providence, RI and has worked with young people as a teacher, youth counselor and outdoor educator in Providence RI, New York City, Philadelphia PA, Maine, Florida and South Africa. He has worked with students ages 10+ and is still in touch with some former students who are now almost as old as he is. He holds an MBA from American University, and MA from Columbia University Teachers College, and a BA from Brown University. He lives in Philadelphia with his family.
