My time spent volunteering teaching inner-city youth fundamental skills, has taught me patience and the importance of being adaptable, skills that I’ve had to incorporate in the fast-paced and environments with changing priorities.


Shaketa Wheeler is Executive Assistant to Founder and Managing Director of Grads of Life. She is responsible for activities across Year Up by providing exceptional executive support and managing the overall administrative needs to C-level contacts with positivity, enthusiasm and professionalism.

For the pass 16 years she has been responsible for providing support to senior level management including CEOs, Presidents, Executive Directors, and Directors as well as Board of Trustees members and a Chairman/Treasurer. She has provided comprehensive administrative support to both Profit and Non-Profit organizations. Her ability to quickly identify and resolved matters in a professional and personable way has made her a great asset.
