Jaleesa supports the project management and content strategy for Grads of Life’s thought leadership and research work.
Prior to joining Grads of Life, Jaleesa served as a marketing writer/editor for Faegre Drinker, promoting the firm’s legal and consulting expertise and commitment to its communities. In particular, Jaleesa operated as the go-to consultant for the pro bono and community service team, amplifying the firm’s charitable giving and community service efforts as well as multiyear initiatives aimed at redressing racial and economic injustice.
Before that, Jaleesa worked as a digital marketing coordinator for American College of Education, advancing their mission of removing barriers to continuing education for health care and education professionals. She transitioned into marketing after turns as a digital editor and freelancer for USA TODAY.
Jaleesa graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies.
