After recognizing that its entry-level positions were suffering from high turnover rates, Verizon Wireless sought to stabilize its workforce while ensuring top-notch customer service.
In partnership with community colleges and universities, Verizon Wireless started LearningLINK, a program that offers tuition assistance and education opportunities for employees to advance their careers. The program has benefitted the company by recruiting skilled new hires, raising retention rates and improving job performance.
